I saw that Jeremy was sweet enough to post some pictures like I asked him to, but I noticed that he didn't really tell ya'll much so I'll give you a quick run-down of what happened...
I had a dr's appointment Tuesday morning and he did an ultrasound and saw that the water was low around the baby (he figured it broke up high and re-sealed so I never knew it broke) and upon further inspection, I was 3cm dilated. So, they sent me straight over to labor and delivery to be induced. Everything went fine other than they kept having to shut the pitocin off to deal with an emergency or someone else delivering which basically meant it just took longer to get fully dilated. Around 10pm my dad and sister made it to the hospital (we were all surprised they made it down before the baby) and around 10:30 I started pushing. After about an hour and a half the doctor's decided I needed to rest and then come back and push again. After a few minutes of resting I knew I couldn't push anymore, there was too much pain in my groin and up high (remember me saying way back about the separated muscle in my abdomen? yeah, it's hard to push with a muscle that's separated) plus, I was exhausted. So, they took me in for a c-section. As it turns out that was a very wise move 'cause the little miss was wedged in there and crooked to boot. I was destined for a c-section anyway. At 1:07am on July 30th she was born. We've decided to name her Kyra Faye (you're not crazy if you thought we were going with a different name....we were, but once she got here this is the name that fits her best). She weighs 7lbs 10oz and is 21 inches long.
There are lots of cute pictures to sort through and post, so I'll do that over the next few days....
