a quick update

Things here are going well. Kyra is a pretty content baby so far (except when mom has hickory smoked ribs for dinner....). My "delivery wounds" continue to heal, not as quick as I would like, but that's just me being impatient. Yesterday Jeremy and I tried to go to Sam's Club, but it was a bit too much of an excursion for me and after only 30 minutes in the store we had to leave. Jeremy was a good sport about it and didn't seem to mind too much that we only got half the stuff on our list. I think for my first outing we should have tried going to have lunch instead of shopping! My mom's here until Wednesday and she's been great about taking pictures (maybe obsessed is a better word)....so, the above pics are from what she's taken the last few days....

The animals seem to be adjusting to having a baby in the house pretty well. Jenny and Tank come find us when she cries and Jenny likes to know where she is at all times. Jessie just ignores her for the most part.
