This is how I found Kyra Christmas morning...apparently she was trying to shimmy out of her crib to see Santa and got a little stuck!

I don't have pics from yesterday (Christmas day) on my camera 'cause so many others were taking pictures, but when they send them to me I'll post a few. We had a great Christmas. Kyra is obviously too young to "get" it, but she had fun with the wrapping paper, lights, and loved all the attention!

cereal is yummy

We started Kyra on cereal a couple weeks ago and she is absolutely loving it!!! I've been giving it to her in the mornings from a bowl and then in her bottle before she goes to bed. Her appetite has greatly increased since we started the cereal, so it's time to start giving it to her more often. As you can see from the pics below, I'm going to need to break out the bibs!

My cousin's neighbor found this cute pup wandering the streets. We've been wanting to get Jenny a friend. Thus, we have a new pup. Her name is Belle and we have no idea how old she is or "what" she is, but she's awfully cute and sweet!

In one of the boxes I've unpacked I came across some of my baby clothes. While this dress is clearly too little to be a dress for Kyra, I thought it still made for a pretty cute little outfit. And, yes, her hair is always that crazy looking~ another reason to hope it's curly!!!

Kyra's aunt Taty (from Brazil) is in town this month with her kids. Here's a super cute pic of the two of them hanging out on Saturday!

cereal is good

Kyra tried cereal for the first time last week. Most of it got on her clothes and face, but you can't really tell that from the picture. She is beginning to like it lots! This morning she actually started opening her mouth when she saw the spoon and ate all that I fixed, with very little missing her mouth. She rolls to her side on a regular basis, and can roll over, but really doesn't like to be on her tummy so she doesn't do it often. She can also go in a complete circle when you put her on the floor. Her head stays in the same place, but she scoots her body all the way around. She's also quite the talker and trying to get some teeth. She goes to the doctor tomorrow for her 4 month check-up (can you believe she's already 4 months old? I can't!) and shots. I'm curious as to how much she's grown 'cause we haven't had her weighed or measured since her 2 month appointment. I'm not looking forward to the shots, but am hopeful they will go better than the last round!

end of the trip

We're home. We had a great time on our road trip, but we're glad to be home. Now it's time to start unpacking. Anyone want to come help us????
