Kyra was a grump this morning. That's definitely not typical for her, but she got to sleep really late last night thanks to the fireworks going off until late. So, she was very whiney this morning. When she got in the car I hoped she'd take a little nap, but the whining just continued. But, she still managed to crack me up....Here's a piece of our conversation today:
Kyra: where going Mommy?
Me: To the store to buy flag t-shirts for all of us and then to the grocery store.
Kyra: No gocey sto!
Me: We need to go to the grocery store to buy chips for Granny. [we're going to Granny's for a bbq tomorrow and were asked to bring the chips]
Kyra: No mommy! Ganny full, Kywa need chips!!!!
I'm a bit concerned that she's not two yet and she a) already loves chips and french fries above all other things and b)that she has the "logic" to say that Granny doesn't need chips 'cause she's full...
On a separate note, I lost the memory card to my camera this week. Fortunately I had most of the pics saved to my laptop already, but I don't have any off the camera from our time in the mountains earlier this week or from our trip to the zoo with my cousin's little girl. I'll "steal" some pics from my mom of the mountains...
