exhaustion and a smile

Apparently eating lunch was an exhausting experience for Kyra

He's getting so big!!!!

Look at that sweet smile!

We're all doing pretty well. Jeremy has started doing a little work at a horse stable near here. He is working a few hours a week in exchange for free riding lessons, and he's loving it! Still no word on his disability, but we're hoping to hear in the next 6 weeks or so. Kyra's vocabulary is increasing on a daily basis, and she's even started saying a few phrases like: see you soon, I got it, I'm fine, I like that, and thank you. She loves SpongeBob and Sesame Street. The other day she surprised when I was trying to get her to take a nap and she kept saying, "Momma O! Momma O!" I ignored her until I realized she was pointing at the "o" on my sweatshirt. Now, everytime she says an "o" she says, "o! o! o!" Liam is doing great. He is quite the little eater, he regularly eats 30-35oz. every day (that's more in one day than Kyra every consumed). He's started smiling at us, "cooing" some, and drooling this week (guess that means he's going to start teething soon). He's still a very happy and content baby who rarely fusses. He sleeps well too, going about 3.5-4hrs between feedings during the day and 5-6hrs at night. I went back to tutoring last week. I'm not working as many hours as I did last semester because I'm scheduled to start teaching and ACT Prep class for the community college on 2/27. As of yesterday, no one was signed up for the class, so if that remains the case then I'll pick-up another student or two to tutor. I've started a fitness challenge with some family and friends. I'm trying to lose the weight I've gained before we go on our cruise in January, so having the element of competition and a little money riding on it, really helps me say "no" to those french fries and ice cream I like so much!
