cute story

Last night we were driving home from my parents' house and it was dark and foggy out. I expected Kyra to be asleep soon after we got on the road 'cause it was about her bedtime and she was tired. So, when she started saying, "Momma!" over and over I was pretty much ignoring her hoping if I didn't pay attention to her she'd just give up and go to sleep. Well, she kept saying it, and about 5 miles down the road Liam started fussing so I hopped (not all that gracefully) into the backseat to see what he needed (just wanted his pacifier). Since Kyra now had my undivided attention she said, "Momma, HOT!" pointed out the window, and then blew. Poor thing, for 5+ miles she'd been trying to tell me it was hot outside and we needed to blow on it. We spent the next 10 miles "blowing on" the fog. I figured that was easier than trying to explain to her little mind what fog was...One thing's for sure, we've taught her well that when there's smoke or steam it's hot and you need to blow on it...
