October

OK, so I've become a blogger slacker.  But, between school and homework and sickness (the kids had sinus infections and tonsilitis 2 weeks ago and croup-really bad-this past week) if I have a moment to sit down and relax, I don't think about putting pictures up on the blog.  But, I will try to do better than once every 6 weeks!  There are some pictures on my phone of a trip we made to the Nature Center where the kids rode their scooters and threw rocks in the river, but those'll have to wait.  For now, I'll post some pics of the pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, and the kids in their costumes....

The best I could get of the two of them together

This was his FAVORITE pumpkin!

So silly!

With his pumpkin all decorated (I found temporary tattoos for pumpkins, so fun and easy and cute!!!)

Kyra with hers (though, "hers" changed on an almost daily basis, though never was the green one hers)

all the pumpkins

Carving pumpkins at my folks' (I had a 12-hour span from when Kyra was better from croup and before Liam came down with it...this and a trip to the grocery store is what got accomplished!)

Mommo kept working away even when the rest of us were done!

Kyra and Mommo

As you know Kyra LOVES bones.  So, it was only fitting she was a skeleton for Halloween.  What isn't real clear in the picture is that my mom took some pink puff paint and went around all the bones with it so she was a PINK skeleton!

My poor boy wasn't feeling very good on Halloween, but he did have a good time putting "Queen Car" on and trick-or-treating at the neighbors.  Both of my kids' favorite though is to hand out candy (this year we actually handed out pretzels) to the kids who came to the door.  William would answer the door and say, ''Trick Or Treat!"  It was so cute and so funny.  It through most of the kids for a loop since it's what they were supposed to say...A few little ones tried to give him some of their candy!

You can sort of see the pink in this one....

Several of our neighbors weren't home, so this is what he thought about that!!!!

Me in costume :)

Not sure how this ended up at the end....But, he's cute and he loved picking out pumpkins so it's ok!
