When Kyra broke her elbow our good friend Lynda sent her a get well gift. It was awesome! It was everything we needed to have a cast signing/ice cream party (she lives in Atlanta so the ice cream came via gift card). She sent invitations, all the toppings, the cones, and even markers.

An update on Kyra's arm....
We went to the doctor on Monday and she got the cast off. The x-rays show the bone is healing nicely. So, she has to wear a sling for the next 2 weeks, limit "high risk/impact" activities for the next 4 weeks (hello?!? I think the cast was easier to make that happen!) and then sees the doctor again in 8 weeks. She is in no pain which is a wonderful thing, but makes it so hard for her to understand she can't ride her bike, play on the tire swing, ride her scooter, etc etc etc.....
