Last week was a crazy, busy week around here. I started a new job and am in training from 7am 'til 11am. The job will have me working from home, so the training is at home. Wrangling the kids and trying to focus on what is being presented has been....challenging. The kids aren't usually up when I start and they are pretty needy when they do get up (I get juice and stuff out for them, they just want to be held and cuddled, and it's hard to hold and cuddle kiddos and interact over the internet with an instructor and 36 "classmates."). So, until about 8:30 or 9 I am rather un-focused. I'm not feeling very confident the job will really fit our family and our needs at this time, but I'm going to give it a shot. And, in the meantime, be looking for something else!
But, the weather has been absolutely gorgeous the last week or so. I LOVE the spring time. I seriously think my soul says, "ahhhh!" at the first hint of trees budding and daffodils popping up. I know it does when I hear the Rockies play-by-play guys on the radio for the first time!
For our fun time last week we went to Target and bought bubbles then came home and had a picnic lunch in the backyard and blew said bubbles. Then took them to the park and blew them there while playing on the swings and slides. By the end of the day, all bubbles were gone! Don't worry, we've gone back to buy more and I bought the 100oz jug for refills. Bubbles are cheap and tons of fun!!!! For some reason I don't have pics of that day. So, you'll have to make do with these pics from our trip to the zoo last week (we have a membership so we go lots!)
