little update

I haven't been ignoring my blog, I've just had a few impediments to blogging....



I had a nasty sinus infection that was followed shortly by a weird stomach bug.

Mr. Liam had to have a little surgery. Without going into all the gorey details, he wasn't able to be circumcised at birth and it was medically necessary for him to have it done as well as a few other things. So, he had that done last week. He's recovered like a champ! By the evening after his surgery he was up and playing and hasn't acted like it bothered him much. His biggest complaint seems to be that it takes a bit longer to change his diaper while he heals. He's also trying to get a couple more teeth...

Kyra started potty training yesterday. So far it's going well. She had 2 accidents yesterday, but once I was on the phone and didn't take her on time and the other she was playing outside and forgot to take a break and come inside to go potty.

As you know, I've been having computer problems. Well, a couple weeks ago I started having modem problems too. So, if I have internet access, it only lasts for a few minutes and then it's gone for 12+ hours.

OK, I started this post on Tuesday, it's now Friday...My modem died in the middle of typing before and wouldn't let me on long enough to finish. Good news though, a new modem came last night (just about an hour before my fantasy baseball draft~excellent timing!). So, now I won't get kicked off quite so frequently...

Potty training continues to go very well. She's only had about 1 accident a day and most of the time it's either because I'm distracted (you know, I do have to shower on occassion) or because she gets busy playing. I'm really happy I waited 'til now 'cause it's gone quite easily (the other time I tried to work on it a couple months ago, she had a major meltdown each time she had an accident). And, amazingly, she hasn't had an accident during her naps and while I put a diaper on her for night, each morning it's been dry!!!
