Jeremy probably won't appreciate that's the picture I chose to put up, a bit too "girly" for his taste, but too bad! It's true though, he's decided to go back to school and get his degree in Natural Resources Management. He starts classes next week at Cameron University here in town. He'll be taking Developmental Writing from 11:40-12:40 Monday through Friday and Psychology on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30-9:10 (or maybe it's 6:10-9:30, I can't remember). I think he's taking on a lot, but we'll see! I'm just glad he's decided to go back.
He will continue volunteering at the Wildlife Refuge, but is going to cut back to 4 hours a day on the weekends. That was at my request. It was awfully hard on me to be alone all week and then have him gone for 10+ hours each day of the weekend. And now that he's adding school, homework and the need to study to his schedule, I'll be glad to have him around a little on the weekends!
In other news, I was able to get the ultrasound scheduled. We'll have it on Monday March 24th at 1pm. I'm pretty excited! I really want to know if lil' Gherkin's a boy or girl, so hopefully he/she will be in proper position that day. When I scheduled the appointment they said I'm not allowed to go to the bathroom that day after 11am and that between 11 and 12 I'm to drink 32oz of liquid. OK, is it just me or does that sound crazy? I don't think there's anyway I could drink that much water in an hour and not be sick. Let alone the risk they take of me having an accident right there on the table if I'm not allowed to use the bathroom....I'm planning to drink as much as I can during that hour without making myself sick or risking an accident!!!!
