Jeremy took Kyra up to the mountains last week and now can't seem to the find the camera. He never took it out of the truck, but it's nowhere to be seen in there, or their bags, or the diaper bag now...hopefully we'll find it soon!

In the meantime, we're all doing well. Just busy with work and taking care of Kyra. She's doing great! Quite the social butterfly...if we don't go somewhere or have someone come visit every day she gets quite grumpy. The dogs returned from prison over the weekend. I think their 5 weeks of intensive training have served them/us well! They both are much wore well behaved and have much better manners. I think it was money well spent!

When I left to go potty Kyra was playing with one of her toys on the other side of the room. When I returned 15 seconds later, this is how I found her! I think she was trying to get rid of the tissue so I stop wiping her nose...

update

I apologize for the lack of posting this week. Kyra caught a nasty cold and has been sick all week. Of course that meant little/no sleep for me and not much for Jeremy either. He and I only seem to have caught the sore throat side of the cold though which is a good thing.

Kyra has a few new tricks up her sleeve these days. She says "mamamamama" when she's mad or wants something. She says "Belle" for all dogs (that's our bloodhound/blue heeler mix pup's name, and in all honesty, was her first word). She has said "dada" a few times, but not much recently. She says "ack, ack" when she sees a rubber duck (she has a really annoying one in the tub that quacks when it's wet, so she picked that up from there). She has both bottom teeth in now and can climb the stairs.

I'll get new pics up as soon as Kyra stops blowing bubbles out her nose (pretty disgusting huh?!?)

Kyra's hair is long enough now she can wear it "up." It seemed to stay out of her food a lot better, but it didn't survive nap time very well!

What a mess! One sock on, one sock off; baby upside down; no pants on; But at least her hair looks cute!!

trip to the mountains

Last week, Jeremy and Kyra went to the mountains for a few days stay with my mom at their cabin. Looks like they had fun and the scenery was just as beautiful as always!
