6 Months Old Today

Miss Kyra is 6 months old today. Where has the time gone? She's getting so big so fast! She loves laying on the floor and attempting to crawl (it won't be long). As you can see, when given the choice between her pacifier and the dog toy, she chooses the dog toy. What can you do????

Just a couple cute pics from this week...Kyra's now eating cereal for breakfast, a fruit or veggie for lunch and another fruit or veggie for dinner. So far her favorites are sweet potatoes, peas, pears, and apples.

Sneak Peek

The battery in my camera is dead and we can't find the charger. We went to the store today and tried to buy a new battery or new charger, but they don't sell them. Apparently I have to order it from the manufacturer. What a pain in the neck! But, we had Kyra's 6 month pictures taken today, so I thought I'd post a couple poses from that photo shoot.

goin' for a ride

The Sunday after Christmas we were at my folks,' the weather was warm, and my dad had his 4-wheelers out. I told Jeremy I thought Kyra was too little to go for a ride. Apparently I was wrong!

Jeremy's birthday

Yesterday was Jeremy's birthday. On Friday we went out to dinner with some friends and then had everyone come back to our house to eat chocolate cake and neopolitan ice cream (Jeremy chose those) and play Wii and Guitar Hero. I don't have pictures from that night 'cause my battery is dead on the camera and I can't find the charger...Last night we went to Amy and Robert's and Amy made Jeremy red beans and rice and my mom made him a chocolate cake. He's so spoiled....

Kyra's new favorite toy is the empty chip bag. Makes it hard to hear anything else, but at least it keeps her entertained.

Kyra got all dressed up for Christmas. She LOVES to stand, all she wants to do is stand, stand, stand!

Jeremy and I took Kyra and the dogs for a walk and somehow forgot Kyra's hat, so she borrowed mine...

Jeremy and I bought a Wii for Christmas. We have had so much fun playing with everyone!!!

This is how I found Kyra Christmas morning...apparently she was trying to shimmy out of her crib to see Santa and got a little stuck!

Here's a pic of our Brazilian family. It's been so fun to have them here, we'll be very sad to see them leave on Tuesday!

I don't have pics from yesterday (Christmas day) on my camera 'cause so many others were taking pictures, but when they send them to me I'll post a few. We had a great Christmas. Kyra is obviously too young to "get" it, but she had fun with the wrapping paper, lights, and loved all the attention!
